Maria Perez-Salinas, NP

Maria Perez-Salinas, MSN, AGNP-C, is an Adult Gerontology nurse practitioner at Kelsey-Seybold Clinic. Maria completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2007 at Stephen F. Austin University. In 2014, Maria earned her Master of Science in Nursing: Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner at McGovern Medical School at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth).
For Gerontology patients, Maria provides well care and treatment of acute conditions, such as UTIs and upper respiratory illnesses, as well as management of chronic conditions, such as kidney disease, diabetes, and obesity. Her focus is keeping chronic medical conditions as stable as possible while preventing over-prescription of medications. She also strives to keep patients out of the hospital as much as possible. She joined Kelsey-Seybold in November 2023.
