Biography

Tamer Khashab, MD, is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician with fellowship training in Hematology/Oncology. Dr. Khashab earned his Bachelor of Science degree in forensic science in 2006 at Baylor University in Waco, Texas. He earned his medical degree in 2013 at the University of Balamand Medical School in Beirut, Lebanon. Prior to residency, Dr. Khashab joined the laboratory of Dr. Felipe Samaniego at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in the Department of Lymphoma/Myeloma, where he was involved in clinical and translational research. He completed his residency training in Internal Medicine in 2019 at Lankenau Medical Center in Wynnewood, Pa. Dr. Khashab completed his Hematology/Oncology fellowship training in 2022 at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston and served as chief fellow in his final year of training.
Dr. Khashab has co-authored multiple scientific papers on different aspects of Oncology and Hematology and has presented at various medical conferences throughout the country.
He joined Kelsey Seybold in August 2022.
