Biography

Brittney Jimenez, OD, graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology in 2016. She then earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 2021 before pursuing her residency at Michael E. DeBakey Veterans Affairs (VA) Medical Center. Dr. Jimenez joined Kelsey-Seybold in January 2024.
At Kelsey-Seybold, patients can see Dr. Jimenez for any ocular condition, whether it be for dry eyes, diabetic and hypertensive retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, or glaucoma, as well as other eye health concerns. Dr. Jimenez’s clinical interests include the treatment of ocular disease, especially anterior segment diseases such as keratoconus. As an optometrist, she prioritizes educating her patients, which results in better control of certain diseases affecting the eyes, such as diabetes.
