Ghazala Abuazza, MD

Dr. Ghazala Abuazza earned her medical degree and did her post graduate training in pediatrics at Al-Fateh University Medical Sciences at Tripoli, Libya. Afterward, she completed her fellowship in Pediatric Nephrology at UT Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas and her Pediatrics residency at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine.
Dr. Abuazza has extensive academic experience, including her time as an assistant professor and pediatric nephrology consultant in the Hypertension and Renal Transplantation Division at the University of Kentucky, where she treated disorders affecting the kidneys and urinary tract. In addition to Dr. Abuazza experience in academia, she also worked in general pediatric primary care in other settings and in pediatric urgent care at Night Light Pediatric Urgent Care before joining Kelsey-Seybold in 2015.
Dr. Abuazza has special training and interest in bed wetting, dysfunctional elimination (bladder and bowel dysfunction), recurrent urinary tract infections, and other kidney diseases.
