Biography

Cortney Brown, NP, provides patient-centered care focused on building trusting relationships and guiding patients to a healthier version of themselves through education and advocacy, supporting physical, mental and emotional well-being.

Cortney chose internal medicine for the opportunity to care for a diverse mix of patients and focus on the whole person. Inspired by a lifelong desire to help others, Cortney believes strong provider-patient relationships are essential, with trust and education serving as the foundation for care. Cortney works closely with patients to help them better understand their health and make meaningful, lasting changes. She provides her patients the same level of care she would give her own family.

Cortney earned a degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Nursing and is board certified by AANP. She also holds a Masters of Science in Healthcare Administration from Texas Tech University. With experience in med/surg, oncology, behavioral health and hospice care, Cortney brings a well-rounded perspective to practice. Originally from Midland, Texas, she now lives in Granbury with her two children, two dogs, two cats, and rabbit. In her off time, she enjoys spending time with family, reading, volunteering with local organizations and watching her son play baseball.
