Biography

Emma Valdez, NP, prioritizes the latest research and clinical guidelines to provide her patients with safe, effective care. Her philosophy is grounded in compassion, clinical excellence and a strong commitment to evidence-based practice.

Mrs. Valdez was born and raised in Monterrey, Mexico and completed her nursing education at University of Texas at Arlington. She became a nurse practitioner to take a more active role in educating, diagnosing and treating patients while maintaining a holistic approach to care. She is especially passionate about early intervention, preventive care and chronic disease management, particularly in aging adults.

Mrs. Valdez’s many clinical interests include geriatrics, high cholesterol and diabetes. Her favorite part of being a nurse practitioner is connecting with patients on a personal level to make them feel heard and understood. Mrs. Valdez lives in El Paso, Texas, where she enjoys reading, exercising and spending quality time with her family.
