Valerie is very professional. She listens to your concerns & informs you of possible treatments. She ordered a STAT referral to a colorectal surgeon on the Thursday which followed the day after New Years Day. She told me that I would hear back the next day about the referral. I waited & finally called the office. I was told that they had other referrals to work on. I know that the office was short staffed because of the holiday. After questioning the staff member further is when I found out that I needed to contact the surgeon & have that office fax over information to expedite the referral. Well, here it is Tuesday of the following week & no word yet. Valerie did have the office staff call me twice on Monday to see how I was doing. Just checked with your office & referral was approved for [omitted] visit. Requested referral be sent to me in the mail & was told it was mailed out this morning. I would suggest that the process be explained to the client regarding what the patient needs to do.
