Nancy Lam is a great FNP, but not a Board Certified MD. We went to Dr. Ashwani being a Board Certified Internal Medicine doctor. We are not impressed being shoved aside from seeing our doctor.

I started seeing her when she fairly new in the profession and unsure of herself and I am pleased at how well she has matured in the past 3-4 years, especially in her confidence and soft skills of relating to patients. Most of the time she easily addresses the medical issues I have, but every once in a while, I feel like we are bumping into the boundaries of her knowledge. Officially, Dr. Ashwani Srivastava is my PCP, for all practical purposes, Nancy Lam is.

I initially was Dr. Ashwani's patient. I'm getting used to Nancy. I don't like to be shuffled around more than between Dr. Ashwani and Nancy. I get the idea that WellMed may not mind a patient being shuffled around, content with whomever they choose to provide at any given office visit. I complained when a 3rd or 4th person was given to me. I expect to be "known" and not have to "reinvent" who I am/my health history--from a person, not computer records that I've found to be less than accurate.
