Biography

Amber Waggoner, NP, is a family nurse practitioner who specializes in caring for older adults. She believes in working as a team with her patients and their families to understand them as individuals and provide the best care and health education possible.

NP Waggoner followed in her mother’s footsteps to pursue a career in nursing, often volunteering at the nursing home where her mother worked. This sparked her passion for working with seniors. She began her career as an RN and continued her training to become a nurse practitioner to work more closely with patients.

NP Waggoner earned her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Walden University. When she isn’t seeing patients, she spends time with her husband and young children. She enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors.
