Biography

Anita Nwanna-Nzewunwa, MD, is a board-certified family medicine physician in the Dallas, TX region. She completed her residency at Maine Dartmouth Family Medicine Residency in Augusta, Maine. She specializes in treating various chronic and acute conditions with a special focus on working with patients with asthma and allergies. Dr. Nwanna-Nzewunwa also manages women's health conditions.

Dr. Nwanna-Nzewuwna actively works to improve access to medical care in underserved populations. She is especially passionate about primary care medicine as it allows her to provide continuity of care and effect change in the populations she serves.

Dr. Nwanna-Nzewunwa enjoys developing relationships with her patients and actively listening to help solve problems. She takes a hands-on approach to patient care and exhibits empathy during every interaction. Originally from Port Harcourt, Nigeria, she now resides in Dallas.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her spouse and three children.
