Biography

Yadira Cabrera, DNP, takes a patient-centered approach to her work with patients. She focuses on listening, teaching and communication to better understand her patients' medical needs.

Yadira received her doctorate from the University of Texas at El Paso and is board-certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She is passionate about family medicine because it allows her to treat a wide range of patients and see diverse medical conditions in practice. Today, Yadira enjoys interacting with patients one-on-one and helping them improve their health outcomes. She is a native of the El Paso area and remains there today.

As a family nurse practitioner, Yadira brings a wealth of expertise to help patients manage a variety of acute and chronic medical conditions. Her special interest lies in treating geriatric patients and assisting patients in managing type 2 diabetes, heart disease, high cholesterol and high blood pressure.
