Ashleyrae Donald, DO

Ashleyrae Donald, DO, appreciates how internal medicine allows her to treat patients holistically and empower them to control their health. She chose the specialty to care for geriatric patients, who are more vulnerable to illness than other patient populations.

Dr. Donald pursued a career in medicine after her father passed from cancer. She earned her medical degree at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Bradenton and completed her internal medicine residency at Dwight D. Eisenhower Army Medical Center in Fort Gordon, Georgia. She is currently board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Asthma, COPD, hypertension and diabetes are some of Dr. Donald's clinical interests. Her favorite part of being a DO is experiencing the satisfaction of working with patients who stop smoking, gain control of their diabetes and reduce high blood pressure. Dr. Donald currently lives in Seminole, Florida, where she enjoys spending quality time with her husband and two children. She is an avid lover of live music, nature and the great outdoors.
