Juan Roa Mendez, MD

Juan Roa Mendez, MD, practices primary care. His patient care philosophy is to build a foundation of good relationships with patients so he can better assist them.

Dr. Roa Mendez pursued a medical career because he loved helping others with their medical concerns. He completed medical school at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana and residency at Lincoln Hospital. Dr. Roa Mendez enjoys working in primary care because the breadth of the specialty allows him to address many medical issues simultaneously. His favorite part of his work is helping his patients.

Dr. Roa Mendez was born in Bogota, Colombia. He has two sons. Outside of work, he enjoys playing music and watching sports. Clinically, he has a particular interest in treating COPD, dementia, depression, diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure and high cholesterol. He also enjoys working with geriatric patients.
