Biography

Duke P. Vu, MD, earned his medical degree at McGovern Medical School at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth) in 2003. Remaining in the greater Houston area, he then completed the Conroe Family Medicine Residency Program in 2006. Bilingual in English and Vietnamese, Dr. Vu cared for patients in private practice for more than 10 years before joining Kelsey-Seybold Clinic’s Family Medicine department in January 2026.
Having grown up in Vietnam until the age of 14, Dr. Vu witnessed a lack of medical care that inspired him to pursue a career as a physician and ease access to quality care in his community. An experienced, down-to-earth primary care provider for patients of all ages, Dr. Vu’s priority is to keep his patients healthy by focusing on preventive care such as well checks and screenings. He also provides care for acute and chronic conditions, such as hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, chronic kidney conditions, hypothyroidism, acute upper respiratory infections, skin ailments, and more. Dr. Vu’s favorite part of being a doctor is seeing improvements in quality of life for his patients.
