As the follow up to a hospital emergency room visit for pneumonia, I had requested and expected to see Dr. Atrey, but on arrival was only able to see Mr. Stevens. This was not a routine checkup and in such cases I would expect to see my Primary Care Physician as requested; not a PA.

Shawn has been very helpful trying to get my blood pressure under control the past 2 years. She is very helpful getting me referrals.

SHE TOOK TIME PREPARING THE AREA AND REMOVING THE SOFTENED WAX. EVEN EXPLAINED TO ME HOW TO AVOID SUCH THINGA.. She is most attentive and very thorough! A year ago she made comment on my bladder and vaginal prolapse and said I should have it looked at by a gynecologist because it could be repaired. No other Dr. I had seen up until that time had told me that it could be repaired and that I should look into it. I saw Dr. Asis who was with USMD at the time and he referred me to Dr. Valenti. After major surgery it has been repaired. I credit Shawn Stevens for setting me on the path to having the prolapses repaired!

Shawn is very thorough in her questioning and investitive to your answers.as a result of her professionalism she suggested that dizzy could be caused via my sinus congestion and that I try taking antibiotics to control it. I have sarted them and the dizziness seems to have stopped. Several specialist Drs have seen me for that system and not one did what did was to exome question me and recommend a remedy to correct it. It SEEM TO HAVE BEEN A CORRECT ANALASSES AND CERRECTION.I AM grateful that Shawn is my care taker.

He was on call over the weekend after I had my mother's prescription filled on a Friday and I had a question. I didn't understand that the doctor had called in 2 prescriptions. He called me back, listened to my question and researched my mother's past history of her condition. He said he would call the doctor to verify but instead he took the time to research further back in the file. He was able to answer my question without having to call the doc and explained it to me very well. I feel that he really went the extra mile.

This will be their "third try", no fault of their own, to get my insulin dosage that I maybe able to tolerate it.
