Biography

Joshua Cochran, NP, grew up in East Texas, where his mother worked as a labor and delivery nurse. As a teen, he developed an avid fascination with health and human anatomy, driving him to pursue a career in nursing.

Joshua has board certification from the FNP-C American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and received his Master of Science in nursing from the University of Texas Arlington. Diabetes and preventive care are his top clinical interests, while heart disease, high blood pressure and obesity are his other specialties. His experience working in a cardiac step-down unit for eight years inspired him to help patients with diabetes achieve healthier lifestyles.

Joshua believes everyone has the right to make their own health decisions. Using a holistic approach to health care, he wants to help patients heal their bodies through behaviors surrounding nutrition, exercise, rest and good mental health.

Reading, hiking, firearms, and home repair are some of the many hobbies that keep Joshua entertained in his spare time. He currently lives in Duncanville with his wife and four children.
