Joshua put on my discharge instructions that my pain rating was a zero when I said that it was a 8 to 9. He also said that I came in complaining of left neck pain. That was not my chief complaint. My complaint was excruciating pain in my left arm with tingling and numbness in my hand and thumb. I also had pain in my left shoulder blade and very mild pain on the left side of my neck when I held my head up towards the ceiling. He gave me a muscle relaxant and told me to take Tylenol and ibuprofen. I told him that I had been taking Tylenol and ibuprofen and alternating warm packs and ice packs. I have been taking it for over a week and he told me to just continue.I asked for steroids and he did not get back with me on that until about three days later. He left out of the room, said that he was going to put a prescription in and I didn’t know that he was never coming back because I had more questions. Only to find out that he was not coming back in the room. So I had to tell the other lady what my questions were and he didn’t answer me back for days. Three days later I ended up going to urgent care because I could not take the pain anymore. The care in urgent care was totally different than what Joshua did. The assessment was totally different. The questions were totally different. The concern was totally different.
