Because it’s hard to get appointments when I want or need one. The way things are currently at this clinic, I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. However, Shanna is very nice and knowledgeable.

Due to the fact that I been waiting, retested, and still waiting to hear what the next step or if there needs to be a next step, from her team. I have been a patient at Hampton clinic and both Dr. Johnsons' for 35 years and never experienced this type of delay. Maybe this is the new norm for WellMed. I been seen by Shanna Clawaon before with no problem, no complaints, so I don't know what's happening now. Maybe I'm over reacting.

Labs were 6 months old, and not scheduled for 3 more months. I feel when meds are prescribed, 90 day follow up is expected. Also, some readings show no improvement, yet report is positive. A more critical approach to improvement and effectiveness of prescription would help. Lastly, specific diet recommendations to support lowering glucose and A1c would be valuable.

Shanna Clawson is kind and professional, but I would like more detailed feedback from her. As an example, my statin Rx refilled was denied. I wasn't made of aware of why this occurred. I share her online post-visit narrative with my partner and I would like for her to expand her narrative, if indicated, to allow me to review the results, conclusions, or recommendations provided. I initially didn't understand the neutropenia indication, but was able to acquire a better understanding after the visit. I am hoping she is able to coordinate with the oncology center so that she has those results when I visit with her.

She is always patient and asks about my physical well being as well as mental state of wellness. She listens to all my responses and answers any questions. She almost makes you forget you are visiting a doctor. It's a pleasant experience.
