Donna Gaona, NP

Donna Gaona, NP, is a nurse practitioner who completed her training at the University of Texas, Arlington. Her patient care philosophy emphasizes spending enough quality time with her patients, so they leave each appointment feeling valued.

NP Gaona is board-certified by the AANP. She was inspired to become a nurse practitioner after working with a physician who witnessed her passion for helping others and encouraged her to pursue a career in nursing. She has always enjoyed working with older adults, and her favorite part of her job is making a small difference in her patients' lives.

Clinically, NP Gaona has a particular interest in treating arthritis, asthma, COPD, dementia, depression, heart disease, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, obesity, thyroid conditions and women's health conditions. NP Gaona was born in the Philippines. She is married and has two adult daughters. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, running, reading and eating good food.
