I will only see this doctor when absolutely necessary because I am not a fan to say the least. She has an awful bedside manner. When asking me about symptoms and length of sickness, I started to tell her the progression seeing as it had been 3 weeks of changing symptoms, and she stopped me to tell me she was only interested in my current symptoms. Shouldn't a Doctor trying to diagnose your illness listen to all of your symptoms before making a decision? She always rushes me and I do not feel heard or cared for at all. In fact I feel like I'm being shamed for describing things inaccurately- she stopped me a few times to point out bluntly and with no tact that "that's actually wrong" or "I'm only asking about your current symptoms today, not last week." Instead of describing what is ailing you, she uses voice to text to write her report on the computer, basically forcing you to listen to her instructions that way rather than just talking TO you. I also had taken my own home COVID and flu test before my visit, which came out negative, but was forced to take another one because "who knows how accurate they are..." and was not told about the $35 charge I would incur from it. I felt muscled into doing something that was unnecessary and unwanted. When I come to see a doctor, I don't need a medical class about how I am wrong or to be scolded for trying to provide the most helpful information that I think is important. I never have issues with my regular doctor, but when and if I am ever unable to see them I never wish to see Dr Jolly again. She is anything but jolly in my opinion, and I hope she learns better bedside manner in a career where compassion and hearing your patient is the minimum requirement.

Because it was he half day and it felt rush. I was just given a referral but my pain was never checked if that’s the case I while most be able to call in a referral. I wanted to see my actual doctor.

Initially, Jolly was adequate. The day after the visit, I could not get any response to questions sent via the portal. Two days after, the condition worsened and I sent pictures - no response thru the portal or phone messages. Finally I got a voice mail from a clerk telling me to continue the meds. I ended up in the ER twice

She could not figure what was wrong with me I suggested it. She was thinking I may had a Virus which was not the case. I could not walk from my pain and she said I dont need to use Crutches. She never responded to my messages on the portal.She wrote my return to work stating with no restrictions when I needed restrictions since I was trying to heal from my condition and barely could walk and she never corrected my letter for work when I reached out on the portal. Just not a good experience overall.

I felt she was irritated with my questions and pushed me to answer quickly. It was the end of the day and it seemed like she was rushing me through the appointment. No, sorry you are feeling bad... just oh it's probably just allergies or your medication causing you to feel bad. I am still not feeling well and it has been almost 6 weeks.

I informed her about the allergy problem & said an antibiotic would be necessary (obviously based on my [omitted] past history.)! I was quickly brushed off with OTC meds which had no affect & led me to an allergist who forthwith prescribed an antibiotic & I was much, much better within 4 days! Well, I usually see Valentina Cruz, I found Jolly to be attentive and professional. There was a slight distance feeling since I was not her actual, usual patient, but she was mostly attentive to what I was saying and needed. The new system was causing problems getting my information and she and the other staff member were asking me questions at the same time and I am not really sure how much each one understood what I was saying since many times my answers were cut off by going to the other question. I found several discrepancies in the summary of my visit. I received a couple of weeks later when I had time to actually read the whole thing, and I will bring some corrections up to them as soon as I can.

I came to the office with severe abdominal pain. I had first started the symptoms while on a trip to North Carolina about a week earlier. The pain had been going on for roughly a week. She came up with the diagnosis of a pulled abdominal muscle based on having me twist from side to side and prodding on my abdomen. Since then, I had emergency surgery to removal my gall bladder. A couple of tests, including blood analysis would likely have determined that the pain was resulting from something that required immediate follow-up. In this case, surgery. On [omitted], the pain was so bad that I went to Legacy ER West, where they performed full testing, including a CT Scan after seeing the results of blood analysis. I was transported directly to Texas Health Plano, where emergency surgery was performed later that same day.

She was awesome! I went in with a lot of hip pain, and she quickly diagnosed that I was suffering from sciatica. She prescribed some meds, and I felt much better soon after. I usually see and trust Dr. Dejecacion with my care, but Jolly Jose did not disappoint!

Jolly was courteous, but too talkative and trying to press us (my husband was with me because he also had an appt) to do more/answer more even though we made it as clear that we did not want to discuss anything further than the appt at hand…we have had a bad experience in the past with USMD with charging us fees for extra questions. We were also uncomfortable with private exams given. And, later during the evening after the appt, Jolly Jose left a detailed message on my husband’s phone of my info even though I had signed paperwork that day that specifically said I do not want a detailed message left and I had provided my number and not my husband’s.
