I called to discuss my lab results and some questions - whoever answered the phone directed me to the notes and I felt spoke down to me. I had questions about some of the notes and the person on the phone told me to do my own research. See earlier comment. This survey is horrible. It is a reflection on Well MEd, not Dr, Patel because if it was, I would find another doctor. Two identical questions is in poor taste as it was done to find out if I would give the same rating! Most of the mediocre ratings were due to the bad phlebotomist. The survey should be designed to accommodate the distinction.

I love Dr. Mohita Patel. She is very nice and I enjoy seeing her. However, getting an appointment with her is impossible. So much so that I have switched doctors and I’m going to another practice. Obviously, she has too much on her plate. I would love to see her again, but since it is impossible to get an appointment, I won’t. Also, my husband had an automobile accident and we called the next day after his accident and they told us that they could not get him in to see her. That is unacceptable.

The only negatives have been last year's change in scheduling in her Frisco office & rescheduling a long time off. A PA apointment was always offered and Tina is great, but I want to see my designated PCP at least once a year. As a positive, Dr Patel is always very focused & professional in the exam room and I feel she is excellent at getting to the root source of the problem. She's also very warm & personable & despite the issues in the past year, I will still choose her for my PCP.

I''m always impressed with her overall knowledge in diagnosing any condition. Dr. Patel puts the patient right at ease by not just listening to concerns but also responding to any question. I have been with Dr. Patell for about 4 years now and I have been super happy with her professionality as well as her friendly nature. I have considered another doctor because of the distance I have to travel to see her but after considering it I put it aside because the trip is worth it. I travel about 40 minutes to see her each visit. There are many PCPs closer but I think none that can match her.
