Connie Mulvihill, NP

Connie Mulvihill, NP, practices primary care medicine. She completed her nurse practitioner training at Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana, and is board-certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Ms. Mulvihill has an extensive background working as a registered nurse in a hospital system that supported underserved patients. She was inspired to further her education to become a nurse practitioner to make a difference in the lives of people needing health care. Her first job as a nurse practitioner was in a small town, working with a geriatric population, and she considers this the best career decision she’s ever made.

Her favorite part of her work as a nurse practitioner is interacting with her patients and forming trusting and caring relationships with them and their families. She believes in treating her patients as she would her family members. She is particularly interested in preventive medicine and treating diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol.

Ms. Mulvihill was born and raised in Louisiana. She has been married for more than 38 years and has three wonderful sons and four grandchildren. She enjoys crafting, yard work, baking and traveling.
