My first dealings with Carl Dear was during a hospital stay in which I was being treated badly so I checked myself out and went to him while he was with Dr. Maul. Carl Dear did above and beyond what I was hoping for and I went back to the hospital with clearer thoughts was to my treatment at the hospital. I came back to Carl Dear when Dr. Maul quit his practice and I have been very happy to find Carl Dear as nice as when I first saw him.

Carl Dear is the perfect example for a great healthcare provider whether you talking about a doctor or a PA, he’s very attentive and takes time to examine the patient and explain and answer our questions. He is the PCP for both me and my wife for many years. We can’t say enough good things about Mr. Dear.

He is detailed oriented. Whoever his medical assistant was; she was rude and I am thinking to go to another PCP next time. When I asked her about a test that may be needed during Dr Carl was in another meeting and wanted to know when his appointment expires, she was rude when answering. She was laughing when I came and started her rudeness. Please discipline her and any staff behaving that way. You lose customers

I've gone to him for health care around 10 years now and he has always been excellent. He is courteous, respectful, and very good at what he does. His suggestions for treatment are usually on target. My health has improved enormously over the 10 years.

He always courtesy knows what he’s talking about and very prompt and he always takes care of his patience, but his office or someone in his office always fail to turn in our call in the prescriptions that you need when you need them. I make the journey from [omitted], Texas, twice a year to visit Carl Dear, and it’s something I truly look forward to. My husband often wonders, "Why not find a doctor here in Fort Worth?" While I appreciate the medical services available locally, there's something comforting about the relationship I've built with Carl and his staff. Their understanding and care make a difference, and I value the trust and rapport we've developed over time.

Carl explains goes over medical issues and medication. Refer specialist if needed/ recommended. Does not push you to do something you don’t understand/want.
