Biography

Diana Chavez, NP, is a family medicine nurse practitioner. When working with patients, she takes time to listen carefully and address their concerns. She works together with the patient to help them make decisions regarding their care.

Ms. Chavez was inspired to enter health care by her father, a general surgeon, and her mother, a midwife. She studied to be a nurse practitioner at the University of Texas Arlington and is certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She chose to specialize in family practice because it covers all ages, from newborns to older adults.

Ms. Chavez was born in Peru and moved to Texas when she was four years old. In her free time, she loves spending time with her family. She also enjoys cooking, musicals and traveling. She and her husband have two children. She is fluent in English and Spanish.
