Grecia Martinez, NP, treats her patients with the same care she would give to her own family. She provides each of her patients with a warm smile, believing smiles can sometimes heal in ways medicine cannot.

NP Martinez is passionate about providing holistic care for her patients. As a young girl, she knew she wanted to study medicine. Her dream was to become a doctor in Mexico, but she fell in love with the nursing profession when she studied in the U.S. at the University of Texas Pan-American, now the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley.

NP Martinez enjoys family medicine because it allows her to gain deep knowledge in several areas of health, not just one. In her practice, NP Martinez treats a wide range of conditions. She grew up in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico, but now resides in McAllen, Texas. When she’s not working with her patients, NP Martinez enjoys listening to music, reading and spending time with her family. She is married and has one son.
