I was assigned to a visit with him, did not ask for it. Then I had to spend time explaining why I was getting a refill on medicine I had been taking for several years prescribed by Dr Phillips. Also I had to explain why I was not getting the meds from my pain management Dr who I have just recently started seeing for my back.

Mr. Robinson was the worst PA we have ever seen. He barely looked at my mom’s rash and then looked at her hair and said she had lice! He then said the rash on her body was due to lice biting her. He quickly left the room and the medical assistant stayed . He was horrible and spent less than 5 minutes with my mom. He misdiagnosed her. I asked him to check my hair as well since I live with her, he moved some of my hair and told me I also had head lice! Unbelievable!!! If we stay at WellMed, we never want him to attend to us.

Check up consisted of listening to my lungs with a stethoscope. No queries about vaccinations or medical history. No thoughts beyond diet and exercise for treating medical concerns, despite being told I am on a low carb healthy diet and exercise 3-4 times a week with weights and cardio. He seemed like a pleasant young man out of his depth with a senior patient.

PA Robinson was difficult to work with, didn't seem to listen to my concerns and wasted a lot of my time trying to explain his own problems ad nauseam. I receive little to no genuine medical care from our visit and was left with more questions about my continuing care at WellMed then when I'd arrived.

He was very professional. He listened to me and asked questions. When I informed him that my spouse passed away recently he told me they offered counseling if I wanted it.

When I described my symptoms he told me they did not make any sense and seemed to be slightly annoyed at me. He spent about 2 minutes with me, then asked his assistant to do a lavage on my ear. I never saw him again. His assistant spent all the time with me. 3 days later I had to go to an urgent care clinic because I had ear pain. The nurse there sat patiently and listened to me, asked questions, looked in my ear and said I had an ear infection and prescribed an antibiotic ear drop medication. If PA Robinson had done that he may have noticed I had an infection, saved me a few days of pain, a 2nd trip for treatment, and a $65 copay. Thanks to the nurse at urgent care, my ear is much better and my hearing has returned.

On that day, Mr. Robinson seemed too busy, I asked him to check my sinuses which always induce my asthma crisis and he complained stating this:" We are short today, I am by myself, I can not check all your chronic problems, I will only check of what you said before related your lungs" I insisted telling him that my Doctor Coutinho who is (excellent Doctor I ever had) was always checking on my sinuses, nose and ears to address the cause roots of my asthma. Finally he checked all I asked ,Lungs ,ears and nose and he found out that my sinus were inflammed and he prescribed me the antibiotic.

This is my first appointment at this facility, so I have limited basis for an opinion. I am willing to believe that the quality of care and hospitality will improve. Later in my appointment, it was made obvious that the staff assumed I was significantly late. However, I actually arrived at [omitted]. The first receptionist who scanned my ID and insurance cards did not complete the check-in process correctly, however. As a result, my check-in [omitted], which was when I had returned to the front desk and inquired how much longer I would have to wait. I was taken back for vitals [omitted]. The clinician who took my blood pressure, pulse, and oxygen levels was not responsive when I told her I was nervous. She seemed uncaring. I then waited another 10-15 minutes for PA Robinson. His first question to me was whether this was a convenient location for me. I was confused about that question at first because I didn't know yet that everyone behind the desk assumed I was very late. It seemed a little rude, as if I wasn't welcome at the facility. As I left, I asked the nurse if such a long wait was standard here, and she informed that they took everyone who was "on time" before they brought me back. She then contested my statement that I arrived [omitted], pointing out the check-in time on my record. No one at the facility apologized for the error and extended wait. I also had to call 2-3 days after my appointment to follow up and get my prescription sent to Optum.

He prescribed two different antibiotics for what he thought was a sinus infection. He did not ask about pain in my face or around my eyes. Which I did not have. When I went to pick up the medicine the pharmacist said they could not be taken together and did not let me get them with out talking to the doctor first. I did not call the doctor about the medicine. I have had a LOT of sinus infections and did not think I felt like I had one. I went in with a sour throat. I no long have a sour throat and feel fine.

Delmer was pleasant and courteous during the examination. I am not sure if the level of care for this exam (Wellness) was diluted. He used statoscope and asked questions and that was it. What happened to checking ears, throat, eyes, mobility? Again, he was friendly, but it appeared it was time to move on to the next patient. Has Insurance companies clobbered Medical providers into providing the most minuscule of care to avoid lawsuits and costs overruns? This of course has nothing to do with Delmer. He was doing his job.
