Biography

Always having a love of science and teaching and a desire to help people, I decided that a career in medicine was in my future. It wasn't until residency that I decided I wanted to specialize in internal medicine and pediatrics. I love caring for children and watching them grow, but I also love internal medicine and caring for adults and seniors.
My goal as a physician is to give my patients the tools, resources and information they need to maintain and better their health. I believe that patients play an important role in their own care'and parents play an important role in the care of their children. Because of this, I strive to give my patients and their families encouragement to succeed and to reach their health goals.
I was born and raised in Arlington, and completed my undergraduate degree at University of Houston. I moved to Florida to attended medical school at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. After medical school I returned to Texas to complete my residency in internal medicine and pediatrics at The University of Texas Medical School at Houston.
I currently reside in Mansfield with my wife and our son. In my free time I enjoy being with my family, playing music, soccer, reading, biking and traveling.
