She is very ill prepared in reference to my conditions and rarely offers medical advice for my betterment. She took over when Dr. DeLeon retired. Dr. DeLaRiva seems like a nice doctor and she is responsive to my requests which I really appreciate, but she doesn't talk much so I haven't really gotten to know her well within the last two visits. I'm used to family doctors interacting and communicating with me more about my issues (ie tips and suggestions as to how to deal with my maladies, my pain, etc.).

I enjoy coming Dr. De La Rica with my Care and when I leave, I’m ease and working on my care for myself for my next appointment. I’ve been coming to this office for. 13+ years and was referred to this office from my previous PCP and said I would fall in love with this office cause it was like hers. I would not change doctors or offices unless I actually had to move out of the area and that’s one thing that keeps me in the area is my doctor cause I never have to stress over coming to her at all. She makes you very comfortable and easy to talk to.. and I just love her and happy to have her as my PCP

She the sweetest, knowledgeable, but firm in telling you what one should do when I am not doing exactly what she has told me to do. In other words exercise and eat the right foods. Take better care of myself first before forgetting me and just doing everything for my 101 year old mom. She claims that I can’t take care of her if I don’t take care of myself.

She is very nice and professional but sometimes she needs to be more doctor. On my last visit she didn't check my lungs, heart, check my ears. On the visit before last I had to ask her if she was going to check my lungs, heart, ears. At that point then she did. On the other hand she listens to me, we talk about my physical condition, things to think about, different procedures to schedule in the future. She has never rushed in, short on time and rushed out. She really does take the time to listen to my concerns and wants to know what I think and how I feel. Maybe this is why she doesn't always check my lungs, heart, etc., but wish she would. Other than this she does a great job and I'm very pleased with her.
