Stephanie Hiraki, DO

My grandfather was a general surgeon, so I had first-hand experience with medicine while I was growing up. I was fascinated by medicine and knew that I wanted to become a physician. Medicine is a challenging field and one that requires constant learning'both of which I love.
Preventive medicine and patient education are essential elements of my practice. I always strive to ensure my patients' health and safety remain my primary focus. My goal is to treat patients with warmth and compassion. When patients visit me, I work with them and give them the tools they need to achieve and maintain quality health.
I graduated medical school from the University of North Texas Health Science Center and completed my internal medicine residency at Plaza Medical Center of Fort Worth. During my residency at Plaza Medical Center, I was selected as Intern of the Year, Resident of the Year, and I served as Chief Resident during my third year. I am board certified in internal medicine and am a member of the American Medical Association and American College of Osteopathic Internal Medicine. I have been caring for patients in Fort Worth since 2012, and have been recognized as a Fort Worth Top Doctor in 2013, 2014 and 2016. I joined USMD in 2016 and I look forward to caring for patients in the Fort Worth community and helping them obtain their ideal health.
I enjoy gardening, sports, and spending time with family during my free time. I currently live in Fort Worth with my husband, Austin.
