Haley Newton, DO

As a family medicine physician, I am passionate about preventive care measures and working with my patients to help them lead healthy lives. I believe in providing compassionate care and I think it's important for me get to know my patients on a personal level so I can guide them and help them with their healthcare decisions. I particularly enjoy family medicine because of the breadth it provides, allowing me to treat patients throughout the different stages of their lives'from childhood through adulthood'for a variety of their healthcare needs.
As a family medicine physician, I treat patients for a wide range of acute and chronic conditions, including annual physical exams, annual school and sports physicals, women's healthcare needs, hypertension, diabetes, asthma, flu, strep throat, colds, upper respiratory infections, sinus infections and much more.
I grew up in the North Texas area and completed my undergraduate degree at University of North Texas in Denton. I stayed in the Dallas-Fort Worth area for medical training, receiving my doctorate degree at University of North Texas Health Science Center College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth and completing my family medicine residency at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Prior to joining USMD in 2016, I spent two years caring for patients in the Dallas area and serving as a faculty associate at UT Southwestern Department of Family Medicine.
I live in Coppell with my husband and our two young children. I enjoy spending my free time with family and friends and supporting the Dallas-area sports teams, including Rangers, Mavericks, Stars, Cowboys and, my alma mater, the UNT Mean Green.
