Joshua Hollinger, MD

Joshua Hollinger, MD, practices family medicine. He completed medical school and his residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He is board-certified by ABFM. His care philosophy emphasizes patient education and careful listening.

Dr. Hollinger originally pursued a career in medicine because he strongly desired to help people. He chose to specialize in family medicine to have a broad understanding of medicine and help patients as much as possible in his role as their PCP. One of his passions is helping educate patients about how their health is affected by daily decisions. He believes that for a treatment plan to truly work, a patient needs to first understand the root of their illness.

Dr. Hollinger is a Texas native. He is married with two daughters and a son. In his free time, he enjoys playing with his children, fixing things around the house, taking care of livestock and spending time outdoors. Clinically, he has a specific interest in treating diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure and heart disease, among others. His favorite part of his job is when a patient fulfills a life goal or achieves major improvement in their health and quality of life.
