Biography

Dr. Ward's philosophy emphasizes treating her patients holistically in order to improve their overall health. This approach comes naturally to her, as she applies the same standards and expectations to her own life; exercise, stress management, and a healthy diet are cornerstones of her lifestyle. By adopting this lifestyle, Dr. Ward is a role model to her patients. Dr. Ward received a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas Tech University. She then went on to earn a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the University of North Texas Health Science Center where she also completed her residency. Dr. Ward is a member of the American Osteopathic Medical Association. She has over 25 years of family medicine experience, and she has a particular interest in the areas of dermatology, women's health, diabetes, and cardiovascular fitness. Apart from her work in the medical field, Dr. Ward is the proud mother of three children, two of which ran track for the University of Texas. She also enjoys church activities and exercising.
