Biography

Dr. Obinabo is board certified in Family Medicine, with special interests in preventative medicine, pediatrics and adolescent medicine. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Medicine, the Texas Medical Association and the Tarrant County Medical Society. As an appointed civil surgeon by the USCIS (United States Citizenship and Immigration Services), Dr. Obinabo is able to perform physical exams, tuberculosis screening (PPD test), venereal disease screening (syphilis test) and immunizations for immigrations purposes. With a focus on cultivating partnerships with her patients, Dr. Obinabo relies on her broad list of specialties to find solutions to her patient's varied problems and provide them with the appropriate treatment and care they need. She is grateful that her job allows her to help entire families and says her patient's smiling faces are her greatest reward. Dr. Obinabo was born in London and grew up in Nigeria. She chose to become a physician because she wanted to help people and make a difference in the quality of their lives. Dr. Obinabo is a wife and mother of three. She enjoys cooking and is an avid soccer fan (Go Manchester United!).
