Michael Benavides, DO

Michael Benavides, DO, graduated from University of North Texas Health Science Center and is board-certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians. Dr. Benavides enjoys family medicine because it allows him to help others and develop long-term relationships with his patients. His favorite part of his work is listening to his patient's stories. In addition, he enjoys walking alongside his patients through each part of their health journey.

Dr. Benavides strives to help his patients filter the health information they receive from various sources. He treats patients experiencing many acute and chronic conditions, with a special interest in diabetes management. The long-term relationships Dr. Benavides forms with his patients allow him to serve their healthcare needs best and provide continuity of care.

Dr. Benavides currently resides in Sunnyvale, Texas, with his wife, although he grew up in the Dallas area. In his personal time, his hobbies include reading, gardening and spending time with his grandson.
