A best friend of mine referred Dr. Benavides and refer him too. He respectfully gives me his time to hear my issues and he listens as well as refers me to other specialist doctors when needed to. He'll even explain your health issues and makes sure you understand or if he knows you don't understand he'll explain it to you in language you can understand. He's a great doctor.

Because he's been my doctor since 2003 and he has been the only doctor to be able to treat me. He even looked after my mother for treatment. When no one else could cure me I went to Dr. Benavides and he was the only one who helped me. After that all of my family continued to only go to Dr. Benavides. Even his assistant are very kind and respectful.

He is a very little word doctor, but if you ask questions he will answer. He doesn't talk much and he will ask if you have questions or concerns. I guess I don't have a real issue to complain. He says I'm doing well and keep on exercising and eating properly with less salt. He's monitoring me for kidney failure and diabetes. He has changed me visit from 3 months to 6 months after my annual in January. He wasn't around for me to ask why. I got that paper when I was leaving.

Dr. Benavides is very professional. He as always attentive to any questions I may have about any procedure. Of my medications, how quickly he will refill a prescription for me. He reads my Infornation Results from any test that were done from the last visit. IE blood test any questions I may have is very explain to me and easy to understand words. he is quick to ask me if there's anything that I need things that need to be explained to me. and always is ready to quickly tell me how well I'm going with myprogress from the last visit.

When he entered the room he greeted me , and immediately started telling me about the results of my last visit . Which were Very Good he he automatically asked if I needed any of my prescriptions refilled, and , He asked me if I had any concerns to talk about.

He doesn't talk about my meds or give any suggestions about my problems. I had to mention one of my meds that wasn't good for my kidneys for him to say if you can do without them don't take them. I stopped taking them for six months and don't need them. I quess I'll have to mention other meds and supplements for him to tell me whether I should or not take them. I don't think he really knows my meds or supplements. I asked about a sparkling water drink Iwas drinking. He just said he wouldn't drink it. He didn't say you shouldn't drink it, he wouldn't drink it. Because it had sucrose in it I stopped drinking it on my own. I wish he could be straight up and let me know what to do or not so I can better my chance of not having kidneys and diabetic trouble.

Dr Benavides is very prompt, when I walk into the exam room I do not have to wait very long. He he is informed of my visit ready to check any charts up from my last visit to my current visit. he always encouraging me when he sees how I have progressed from the last visit. IE my weight my blood test. and always asking do I need anything such as a prescription refill or any other matters that he could help me with.
