I always see the PA, Dr. Jones is not an easy Dr. to make an appointment. Her schedule is always booked well in advance. I am satisfied with her care, however I made a simple request for some insurance information, I have been her patient since 2019 and have always had UHC medicare advantage insurance - have not changed by coverage. I requested she have a letter prepared for me simply stating that I was covered by UHC in 2023. The front desk was told me they did not provide insurance information and did not even want to provide me with the request form but I insisted. When I arrived for my appt the next week there was no letter and the doctor did not mention my request. At the end of my session with her I had to ask for the letter I had requested - she said she would not provide the simple letter but they would make a copy of my 2023 insurance card at the front desk. I went to the front desk and waited for them to look at my records and they printed a form for me and folded it in half so I could not see the info clearly. When I returned to my car I saw the form was information for my corrent 2025 coverage..The first thing I am asked for at each appt is insurance informettion. The letter I asked for should have been waiting for me. Doctor, patient and insurance cooperation is very important and my request was reasonable. Very disappointed in the lack of help I received.

She is fantastic. Truly top notch. She listens, thinks about what she hears, and has repeatedly made very wise suggestions in my continuing care. She has a real handle on what works for me, and what doesn't after the last several years. I really feel like she and Janice are teammates in keeping me healthy and strong. She is worth dealing with all of the trouble that the corporation of USMD keeps putting in the way of getting to her, and making appointments. Quite honestly, every single year the management of USMD itself has made everything it touches more complicated and less convenient. It's a good thing she is so worth it.

I was under a lot of stress the day I saw her recently as my husband had just been released from the hospital and a friend was taking him home so I could keep my appointment with her. In three years of seeing Dr. Jones (twice a year) she has checked the glands in my neck, used her stethoscope to listen to my heart, lungs???, asked me questions, and sends me for blood work. She then sends prescription refills to my pharmacy and has my lab results mailed to my house.

Because the way most of my doctors have been in the past, they come in and spend 5 minutes with you then turn you over to a PA or nurse to complete your information. Dr. Jones comes in, sits down and talks about the reason for the visit or in this case the colonoscopy and endoscopy I had just had and goes over the results and any thing we could possibly do going forward. I had questions about digestive issues that we discussed and by the time we were finished we had gone over everything I wanted to discuss and I felt much better leaving. She has a way of communicating that puts you at ease.
