Biography

Alisa Holland, MD, firmly believes in patient autonomy. She is devoted to educating her patients and guiding them toward safe treatments that result in the best possible outcomes. Diabetes and geriatrics are some of her top clinical interests.

Dr. Holland was born in South Florida and raised in Tampa. She earned her medical degree at Florida State University and completed her residency at Texas Health Presbyterian Dallas. She has always enjoyed connecting with people and managing complexity, which inspired her to become a primary care doctor specializing in internal medicine. She currently holds board certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Dr. Holland loves internal medicine because it allows her to solve problems for patients and enhance their quality of life. She currently lives in Tampa with her husband and two daughters. In her spare time, Dr. Holland enjoys cooking, traveling, skiing and volunteering in her community.
