Doctor Alyssa Holland has been my doctor for many years. She’s a great doctor because she she cares about her patience really and truly cares. She keeps up with your your health your medications. I feel fortunate to have had her as my doctor many years.

I realize that my highly positive ratings throughout the organization may cause these responses on Dr. Holland to actually be looked upon as no better than the rest. There needs to be an exceptional rating n Dr. Holland's case. I have been a patient at WellMed Bayside since relocating to Tampa for career reasons. In the intervening years, I have visited with probably 6 or 8 primary care providers at WellMed, both physicians and NPs. I've not been disappointed by any (except one), but Dr. Holland has been the clinician who has had the clearest sense of my medical needs (which I believe and likely not complex). Beyond that, I am greatly satisfied that she believes in a team approach of WellMed staff and patient. I am clearly a partner in caring for myself, motivated to make strong choices in those elements of care that I can control (like diet, fitness, awareness, and complete attention to following through on any medications with exact timeliness). But what I get in return is a strong sense of encouragement and confidence from Dr. Holland. That is a value added in primary medical care. It may be a corporate value for WellMed/Optum, but it is clearly a personal value of this excellent physician. Unlike many, she is not the technician writing scripts and dispensing advice; she is a creative and caring partner in inspiring her patients to better health. Bravo Dr. Holland!

Exceptionally invested in overall health and modifying your health plan based on recent testing and evaluation of currently prescribed meds. The affiliation with UHC is a negative for all providers at wellmed. Also why not use Epic/MyChart . I know UHC wants to own 100% of the healthcare world so you choose to use an inferior patient portal?! UHC does not really care about patients— it’s about the MONEY. BONUS. PROFITS.

Truthfully, over the past few years, I had been seen by the various NP’s on the staff, and while I was satisfied with the routine case afford d by then, I missed the thoroughness and attention that Dr. Holland has always shown her patients. I completely understand the possibility of delayed schedules when considering her approach to thoughtful patient care. I also appreciate her willingness to explain in depth the nuances of various conditions and medications. I appreciate the science as well as the results. Good job Dr. Holland!

Dr. Holland is awesome, good/great bed manners, very caring, good listener, talks to you as if your very important, always thinking and making suggestions according to what subject we are talking about. When I schedule an appointment its always with Dr. Holland no one else. There has been a time when I went in for my appointment and was taken by surprise that I was seeing someone else. Let me tell you I was a very unhappy camper. I let it slide that time.
