Biography

Ronald Stephens, MD, is a family medicine specialist with extensive experience working with older adults. He works closely with patients to understand their goals for medical care. He helps guide them through their options to get the care they need.

Dr. Stephens believes that part of any doctor's role is to be an educator as well as a caregiver. He makes sure patients understand the nature of their diagnosis, what treatment options are available and what the results will be. He also believes it is crucial to listen carefully to patients and their families so he can address their specific needs and concerns.

Dr. Stephens received his medical degree from the Texas Tech University Health Science Center School of Medicine. He did a family medicine residency at Memorial Medical Center in Corpus Christi. When he isn't seeing patients, he is involved with church work and teaching. He is married and has two adult children and two grandchildren.
