I still consider myself rather new to Dr Vallabhaneni but we are becoming better acquainted albeit gradually. She is of a professionally sound demeanor which I find at times presents me with a challenging uncertainty regarding how I might be received by her. This is not a statement of dissatisfaction yet I find this at times somewhat arresting to interpret. Our depth of communication has shown improvement but I should not be so much concerned with how I present - I already am aware my appearance & eccentricities can be a source of difficulty, much as it has been my entire life. In light of this I find Dr Vallabhaneni interesting & most involved in the medical supervision & guidance she administers.

I experienced a degree of anxiety during my first visit with Dr Vallabhaneni due to our unfamiliarity & I felt I was viewed with some distress which is not uncommon yet unexpected, as I have that effect upon people who have no knowledge of my character as opposed to my visible appearance. I am aware that I might be a difficult individual to identify with or understand. I was not abused in any manner but I did leave with a sense of confusion & was plagued by ideas that I might be unacceptable; this is not unusual & with nothing but blood test results to defend my character I would be uncertain until the results were evaluated. As I expected the tests spoke well of my ability to interpret, understand & execute my physicians’ orders & recommended actions. Upon my second visit I was received well & again illustrated my willingness to be forthcoming & compliant which was received well, dismissing my anxious temperament. This renewed my sense of being in the best situation & I have no reservations in recommending Dr Vallabhaneni to others seeking care.

She is an excellent Dr. and is very thorough; however, she is forcing us into MONTHLY visits (probably pushed by WellMed) and is not studied on the value of Hydroxychloroquin and Ivermectin for the prevention and treatment of Covid-19 related illnesses. If MONTHLY visits are continued to be pushed on us (age [omitted] and [omitted]) we will seek out a new provider. She is also too reluctant to provide Opioids (as most Dr's. are) when they are only to be used on an AS NEEDED basis - even though there may be MONTHS between usage. Dr. Aparna Vallabhaneni is a wonderful woman but the non-needed MONTHLY visits have to stop !

Dr. Val is respectful of the patient and clear in imparting her information. She has not yet had to prescribe medications for me so I can't answer to that effect. Recommending a doctor to another senior citizen is not likely as in general we all have our GPs established. Most of my friends are also not on Medicare Advantage.

Although I was scheduled for [omitted] WAY IN ADVANCE I was called and rescheduled for the [omitted], did no one realize months [omitted] were going to be office closed?? Then I was made to wait my return ride was sent back, but Doctor Vallebehenie is one of the best doctors existing & actually TOUCHES YOU in examinations which most doctors today wouldn't deign to touch anyone these days. Also she isn't cursory in her time with me she asks questions & makes sure any of my concerns are addressed.
