Biography

Antonio Garcia, NP, specializes in family medicine. Mr. Garcia originally pursued family medicine to help those in need and directly impact patients' overall health. As a nurse practitioner, he makes sure to treat patients like his own family members.

Mr. Garcia trained at the University of Texas-Pan American. He further pursued his education and obtained his Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of the Incarnate Word. He is board-certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). He enjoys working in primary care because it challenges him to be well-versed in all areas of medicine and stay up-to-date with current health care guidelines. Mr. Garcia’s key clinical interests are diabetes and heart disease.

Mr. Garcia’s favorite part of his job is interacting with his patients and seeing how certain health conditions can affect them differently. Born in Chicago and raised in the Rio Grande Valley, he currently lives in Edinburg, Texas, with his spouse and four children. Mr. Garcia is particularly interested in advancing his education in preventive care and public health. Outside of work, he enjoys vacationing and spending time with his family.
