Biography

With my interest in science, I knew from an early age that I wanted to become a doctor. I have a passion for caring for older adults and I enjoy establishing long-term relationships with my patients in order to provide them with complete and comprehensive care. Within the field of geriatric medicine, I have a special interest in the evaluation of memory loss.
I grew up in North Richland Hills, Texas. I received my medical degree at University of Texas Southwestern. After medical school, I completed my internship and residency in internal medicine at Methodist Dallas Medical Center. Upon completion of my residency, I spent more than 11 years working as an internal medicine physician at clinics throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. In 2013, I returned to University of Texas Southwestern to complete a fellowship in geriatric medicine. I am excited to be working as a geriatric medicine physician at USMD and I look forward to working with and caring for patients in the North Richland Hills community.
I currently live in Keller with my husband, Will, and our two daughters. I enjoy spending my free time with family and friends and watching my daughters grow and learn.
