Ashley Barnes, PA, has a unique perspective on the importance of quality health care. Originally from rural Texas, she knows many patients struggle to access qualified providers. Today, she takes pride in her role in improving health care access in rural communities.

PA Barnes is committed to meeting the growing need for family practice providers. Her work as a general practice provider is driven by a desire to help as many patients as possible. Building strong relationships with patients is a cornerstone of her practice, and she finds great joy in getting to know families, neighbors and local community members. She believes improvements to community health programs can change lives by uplifting each new generation.

PA Barnes graduated from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and is board-certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. A lifelong Texan, PA Barnes grew up on a working ranch in Brackettville and now resides in McCoy, Texas. When she's not caring for patients, she enjoys spending time with her family and staying active on the ranch. PA Barnes is a proud mother of three.
