Her "bedside manner" is terrible. Half the time, I don't think she even hears me. She never examines me during my physical examinations. Just "Are you feeling okay?" does not cut it. She is always late.

Dr. Barkov is easy to talk to and she is thorough with everything your ask her about. Marina is probably what sells the clinic. Marina spent eight years in medical school in Russia . Marina spent another eight years of medical school in America. I have two other Russian Doctors, one in Iowa and one in Arizona. I love them too. They are big in eating the right foods that heal the human body. Fresh fruits and vegetables 🥕 are the best and chicken livers are great for iron. Iron is what carries the oxygen to our organs. Dr. Maria Mitchell is okay with taking vitamins, she also stresses eating the foods that have good nutrition. Dr Mitchell also completed eight years of med school in Russia before coming to America to complete another eight years of med school. She is retired now. My medical doctor, Eugene Cherny also is my other physician. He is an excellent plastic surgeon. He always asks me what I am eating as he loves my skin.

Her qualities included everything that I found important. She spoke clearly and loudly enough for me since I am hearing challenged, she LISTENED to my concerns, she was very personable and warm. She has been .my PCP for 10 yrs. Despite she is ALWAYS late. She diagnosed me within a few visits with cancer when no one else seemed to notice my blood counts being off. She recommended things that different Drs said we're not correct but later after changing specialists she was completely correct!

I’ve been a patient of Dr Barkov for nearly ten years she has always been respectful, courteous and thorough. I wish I could continue to see her but WellMed is now only taking Medicare patients. Although Dr Barkov is awesome I will not refer anyone to any WellMed facility.

I recently changed my husband from his Dr. to her practice as his primary care giver because of the level of care I recieve from her, I was so pleased at his first visit her for she addressed issues his Dr, had noted in his record but had not followed up with. She takes time to get to really know her patients and give them I believe a good well thought out plan to address life issues. She also ordered needed labs and referrals needed, very proactive in meeting needs. there need to be more Dr. that show that kind of treatment and support to their patients. She a WONDERFUL doctor.
