Biography

Armando Osio, MD, is a family medicine specialist. His approach to care is to educate patients so they can take charge of their health. He believes that understanding the purpose of treatments helps people participate in their own care.

Dr. Osio was first inspired to study medicine after he spent a summer working as an orderly. That experience gave him the drive to help people who were ill or suffering. He chose family medicine because it allowed him to use numerous medical skills and help the most people.

Dr. Osio attended medical school at Texas Tech University School of Medicine and continued there for a residency in family practice. When he isn’t seeing patients, he enjoys golfing, fishing and spending time with family. He is married with three children and four grandchildren.
