Mauricio Jimenez, MD

Mauricio Jimenez, MD, takes an active-listening approach to patient care, focusing on helping his patients gain a deep understanding of their conditions. From a young age, he knew he wanted to become a doctor.

Dr. Jimenez graduated from medical school at the Universidade Federal Do Estado Do Espirito Santo in Brazil and completed his medical residency at the Woodhull Medical and Mental Health Center in New York. He takes the time to help patients better understand their conditions. During each patient visit, he explains complex medical conditions in an easy-to-understand way so his patients can feel confident in their care.

Dr. Jimenez is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He was born and raised in El Salvador, Central America, but now resides in El Paso, Texas. In his free time, he enjoys reading books and spending time with his wife (a doctor) and his two children.
