Belinda Hernandez, MD

Dr. Belinda Hernandez, MD, is an internal medicine specialist. Her care philosophy is to involve each patient in their medical decisions. She sees her role as guiding patients as they take charge of their physical and mental health.

Dr. Hernandez was inspired to pursue a career in medicine after seeing medical professionals help members of her family. She appreciated the care her family received and wanted to provide care to others in return. She chose internal medicine for the opportunity to build long-standing relationships with patients and help people manage chronic diseases so they can avoid unnecessary complications.

Dr. Hernandez attended medical school at the University of Texas Medical School at San Antonio. She continued there to complete a residency in internal medicine. She is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Hernandez currently lives in Mission, Texas. In her spare time, Dr. Hernandez enjoys reading and traveling.
