Biography

Mark Alquiza, MD, graduated from the Cebu Institute of Medicine and completed his residency at St. Joseph's Medical Center in Yonkers, NY. He is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFP). 

Dr. Alquiza strives to serve others and make a long-lasting impact on the lives of his patients. He finds his career in family medicine both humbling and rewarding. Working in family medicine allows Dr. Alquiza to see patients of all ages and form family relationships across generations. Patients are treated like family during each visit and form long-lasting connections with Dr. Alquiza. In his practice, he helps patients manage a variety of chronic conditions, including high cholesterol, high blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes mellitus and more.

Born and raised in the Philippines, he now resides in Houston, Texas. Dr. Alquiza enjoys staying active by hiking and spending time in the sun. He also enjoys watching movies and traveling the world.
