She exceeded my expectations. I was there for the flu and she took care of my needs immediately. I also have a ruptured disc in my back which I need to have removed and she was very caring and concerning and following through on making sure that I got the referrals I needed to see the doctor and have an MRI. I believe she displayed the highest example of a medical care person at levels above and beyond what I’ve been accustomed to in the past. She is a tremendous asset to your organization.

For some of us, going to the doctor’s office for a check-up can be a little nerve-wracking. Latifah made sure I felt comfortable and well-informed throughout the entire process. She truly seemed to care about her patients and took the time to make sure I understood everything regarding my health. I really appreciated her kindness and professionalism during my visit.

I had my last visit with latifah. I was so impressed with her on all levels. She was not only knowledgeable, She was so very caring and giving of herself to my needs. I would highly recommend her to any of a family member or to you reading this. I'm very happy with Dr panate as well. But anytime latifah will be filling in for the doctor I will be glad she will be available to me.

My regular primary was on vacation and I had an urgent eye emergency. No appointment. She saw how concerned I was and took care of me wonderfully well. Prescribed medication that healed my eye. She made follow up phone calls until I was better.

Thank you the nurse practitioner is like the shining star in Oum. Dr. Pante is wonderful but he’s very busy all the time. Dr Gomez is my regular primary doctor. He’s also wonderful but hard to say when I see the nurse practitioner I literally get much better care and if I see Dr. Bedard Who I will not see anymore ever again after my treatment seeing her two weeks ago was very bad it makes me want to leave optimal together. Something needs to be settled or done. I don’t know. I’m just one person so I don’t really count, but that’s all I have to say

This was an emergency visit due to swelling in my foot. I called to see Dr Pinate but he was unavailable but they were able to bring me in in two hours to see Latifah Carty. She was Excellent! She spent a lot time with me, asking several questions about my symptoms and current meds. She had blood work done, suggested I adjust a couple of my meds and also called the Imaging facility and got me an appointment for the same afternoon (30 minutes after I left) where they did an ultrasound on my leg and foot to rule out blood clots. Her recommendations completely helped and the swelling went away within a couple of days. Great work!!

Her concern, curtesy, diagnosis, and subsequent follow up was impeccable. Although my primary care physician is Dr Gomez I welcome Dr Carty’s attention and demeanor. She made me feel so comfortable as she addressed my concerns and outlined a diagnosis and proper medication. She has a very nice bedside manner. I would be grateful and extremely satisfied for her thoughtful attention moving forward notwithstanding Dr Gomez bedside manner. I truly believe in the two of them and their commitment to their patients wellbeing! Thank you for your inquiry as I would be extremely disappointed, should Dr Carty be removed as a CARE physician from Optum’s roster .

I had an appointment to see my PCP at Optum, and when I showed up for my appointment, I was that my PCP was out sick and I should have been notified, but I was not notified. To avoid my trip to Optum to be in vain, Latifah was willing to see me and she took time to go over my labs results with me and explain some of my health concerns with me. She took time to listen to me and showed interest.

I never go to see my PCP at OPtum unless I have an appt but, in Set I had an emergency issue and I was told that my PCP was unavailable but, that Latifah joined the practice and would I like to see her? I did and, whe was/is wonderful. I felt very relaxed in her preseence and she took the time to understand my medical history as well as the issue I had that day. The next time I had a medical issue that required immediate attention was in November and, again my PCP was unavailable so, Latifah saw me. Again, she was wonderful and helped me out. Her attention to detail, her caring and professional attitude and her calm demeanor and willingness to try everything she could helped me. She even conferred with my PCP before she prescribed treatment. She is a great addition to Optum's medical practice.
