Biography

Matthew Nichols, DO, is a board-certified family medicine physician. He takes an individualized approach to care while maintaining a friendly and professional attitude. He enjoys making personal connections with his patients and impacting their lives firsthand.

Dr. Nichols puts his patients first and continually strives to learn new ways to help them. He loves the field of family medicine, which allows him to treat his patient's health from a broad perspective. He received his medical degree from the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine. Following medical school, Dr. Nichols completed medical residency programs at HCA St. Petersburg General Hospital and USF Morsani.

He grew up in Mt. Vernon, Illinois, but now lives in St. Petersburg, Florida. In his personal life, Dr. Nichols enjoys exercising at the gym and spending quality time with his family. He is married to his wife.
