Megan McGrath, MD

Megan McGrath, MD, approaches patient care with a teamwork attitude. She works with her patients as a team to help them achieve optimal health. In addition, she strives to maintain a safe and comfortable environment where her patients can freely voice their concerns. 

Dr. McGrath chose to enter family medicine to partner with patients in all areas of their health care and develop long-term relationships. She completed the Resurrection Family Medicine Residency Program in Park Ridge, IL. Dr. McGrath also holds a master’s in sports medicine. As a child, she earned her First Aid Badge in Girl Guides/Scouts, which made her realize she was interested in health care. She has a passion for preventive care and helping patients manage chronic diseases.

Furthermore, Dr. McGrath enjoys helping patients with musculoskeletal and nutritional concerns. Dr. McGrath was born in Cape Town, South Africa, with a unique landscape of beaches and mountains. In her spare time, she enjoys going to the beach and kayaking with her husband, gardening, cooking and breadmaking. She is actively involved in church and runs a home bible study group.
