Biography

Roosevelt Campbell, MD, PhD,  has always been passionate about using scientific research to better understand the world around him. He's proud to have a career that allows him to use scientific knowledge to prevent disease and improve patients' quality of life.

Dr. Campbell believes preventive medicine is a cornerstone of public health. He ensures patients of all ages receive the services they need and empowers them with new ways to take charge of their well-being. During office visits, Dr. Campbell collaborates with his patients to set health care goals tailored to their needs. He serves as his patients' guide, supporting them throughout their journey.

Dr. Campbell graduated from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston and completed his residency through Duke University's Family Medicine & Community Health program. He is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. Though born in Mexico, Dr. Campbell spent most of his childhood in Mission, Texas. In his spare time, he enjoys running, cycling and listening to audiobooks and music.
